Myntra has introduced capturing of Tag Loop Codes for B2C orders shipments for all Sellers.

What is a tag loop?

Tag loops are simple yet secure inalterable locks containing scannable code on it

A Tag Loop code has to be captured during the packing process in the WMS system and the same has to be passed to Myntra APIs while confirming the packing of the B2C Shipment.

The Tag Loop Codes will also be used by Myntra Logistics for traceability of better Customer Returns.

<aside> ℹ️ Additional Details:

• In the initial phase, it would be implemented on the selected style ids.
• Before packing the product, the sellers would be required to attach a tag loop on it
• Scan the code on the tag loop against the Order Line item before invoking the Myntra Pack API.
• Tag-loops will be unique for each order and cannot be reused.
• There is no communication received yet for the use of Tag Loop Codes during Return order processing in WMS System by Myntra team </aside>

Why Tag Loops?

• The returns option on a product is for the benefit of customers and an unavoidable cost of doing business
• There are instances where some customers take advantage of this process by engaging in wardrobing, returning the product after using it or replacing it with a similar-looking one
• Even while there are existing checks in the system to limit or prevent such instances, they rely on Image and Brand description that do not guarantee that fake products are not infiltrating in
• Tag loops would be incredibly useful in tackling such instances

What happens if operators miss capturing the tag loop during packing?

Failure to scan tag loops for specified orders impacts approval of SPF claims for orders which can be a loss to sellers. Such items will not be eligible for SPF claims.

1. Go to Partner portal -> Reports -> Operational Reports -> Download Seller_listing_report
