Purpose

The Channel Configuration screen is your command center for setting up and managing your marketplace connections within Increff Channel Connect. It provides a streamlined interface for adding new channels, creating nodes (location mappings), and customizing settings for optimal performance.

1. Pre-Defined Channel Models: Simplify setup with models tailored to popular marketplaces, offering recommended settings and data point requirements.
2. Node Creation: Map your warehouse/store locations to specific marketplace channels, enabling precise inventory control and allocation.
3. Inventory Exposure Management: Switch node mappings to dynamically adjust which inventory pools are visible to different sales channels.

Prerequisites

• Active Increff System User Account: You'll need an active user account with the appropriate role permissions assigned. (Refer to Access and Authentication for more details)
• API Credentials: Gather API keys, usernames, passwords, and any other authorization details required for the marketplaces you wish to integrate.

Initial Setup

• Event-Driven Architecture: Increff Channel Connect uses an event-driven model to ensure real-time communication with supported marketplaces. Increff team will ensure the necessary event configurations are setup whenever a new channel integration is being done.

• Channel Jobs and Events: Initial configuration of channel-specific jobs and events is handled by the Increff team.

  

• Custom Channel Configuration: For new channels not currently available for mapping, custom configuration may be required. Reach out to Increff Customer Support for assistance.
