When you open MFP for the first time (or if you have not created any forecasts or plans yet), the Models, Forecasts, and Plans sections will be empty.
In MFP, the flow is sequential:
- Run Assessment : Run assessment to compare which model fits best on your data.
- Select and save a model: Save the preferred model with a Name.
- Generate a forecast: Generate the forecast for a time period using the model. The forecast is the baseline output that future plans build on.
- Create a plan: Plans are created from a forecast so you can review, adjust, and save an editable version.
Step A: Run an assessment and Compare models
- Select one or more models from the list.
- Click Run Assessment.

- Go to MFP → Model Comparison.
Step B: Review performance and select a model
Once the assessment is complete, MFP displays the performance metrics for all assessed models.
- Review the accuracy metrics across models.
- Select the model that best fits your business requirements.
