Summary

• Clients can use their own external item codes for itemizing products and map those while packing.
• WMS item codes can also be captured. If stores receive material from a warehouse where items are serialized then the same serialization IDs can be captured in SFS as well giving an end-to-end visibility.
• SFS can pass External Item Code details in Sales Posting API to POS.

Capturing External Item Codes during packing in SFS

Please follow the below steps to capture external Item Codes:

1. Go to the Packing screen in the Outwards section.

   

2. Click on Configurations

   

3. Enable the configuration Capture external Item Id in pack by Picklist ID/Order ID.

   

4. To pack orders using Picklist ID, please scan External Item ID after scanning Picklist ID and Client SKU ID.

   

5. To pack orders using Order ID, please scan External Item ID after scanning Order ID and Client SKU ID.
